Rafaela synopsis

Rafaela is a Mexican telenovela, based on the Venezuelan telenovela of the same name. From June 20, 2011 to August 5, 2011, Univision aired double episodes weekdays from 1pm to 3pm central, replacing Niña de mi Corazón. From August 8, 2011 to October 14, 2011, Rafaela aired single episodes weekdays at 1pm/12pm central.

Synopsis:
She is now more than determined to confront those who abandoned her, as well as those who aim to humiliate her. Rafaela Martinez is shocked when she discovers that her father, Rafael De la Vega abandoned her mother Caridad Martinez. Working in the hospital where she met him being the chief director of the hospital, she meets Dr. Jose Maria Baez. Jose Maria Baez is a seductive, single and proud doctor who hates Rafaela's arrogance and pride. These two have major differences in the hospital but later love sparkles between these two characters who thought they despised each other.But their love is disrupted by Morelia De la Vega, Rafael's wife who thinks Rafaela is her husband's mistress, Ileana Contreras, who is having an affair with Jose Maria and is actually married and the main villain Mireya Vival who aims to get Rafaela out of the picture.
